February 3, 2010 REACH has recently engaged the services of Bob Kiser from Kiser Arena Specialists. Bob Kiser is one of the world’s leading experts in arena consulting. His work includes arena footing for the World Equestrian Games, FEI World Cup, AQHA and many others. After an initial meeting with Bob Kiser we believe that we will have to add more material to our arena footing. Mr. Kiser has been tentatively scheduled to come to REACH in the beginning of April. This date is dependent on weather, as the materials needed are under a layer of snow and frost. In the meantime, we will be comparing samples between our arena and those provided to us by Mr. Kiser. Upon finalization of the footing it is our intention to contact various user groups to visit REACH and perform on the new footing. More updates will be posted as they become available.
